"I  heard of acupuncture back in the early 70’s when I was in the eighth grade. At 55 years of age, to say the least I was a little skeptical of the treatment and/or procedure. I always thought it was some mystical ancient Chinese secret. What I experienced through education and the healing hands of Dr. Audrey Steele was relief from my nagging joint and muscle pain that I have had for over two years. East meets West when you visit Dr. Steele & receive the benefits of acupuncture, as she  is a licensed registered nurse AND licensed acupuncturist.  I learned that my body is a network of connected rivers and streams called meridians.  I am an avid runner and martial artist. My hamstring has been a problem for two years now with cramping and tightness. I've also had a problem with my right big toe from kicking bags and missing the technical prowess of the training. Stretching, heating and cooling the hamstring and big toe worked for a minuscule amount of time, but the agonizing pain and discomfort always returned. From my  first acupuncture session, Dr. Audrey was very reassuring in her bedside manner which put me at ease. The results of the 1st session were amazing - my hamstring seemed to ease with tightness within a day. By the 2nd treatment I was really encouraged, in that I was later able to sprint without any tightness in the hamstring.  At my most recent visit I inquired about my achy big toe; couple needles later, when I left the office the big toe was loose and functioning as if I hadn't injured it.  I do recommend Dr. Steele for the athlete in every one of us. I look at it this way: I spend thousands of dollars a year for maintenance of my cars and the upkeep of my home; why not spend the money to keep me well.

"I'm a firm believer in science and factual evidence so was definitely skeptical when I heard about Reiki as a form of healing. I have a history of anxiety and was recommended by a close friend who INSISTED I see Audrey. It took me awhile but finally I obliged and I'm so glad I did! First of all, Audrey is so warm-hearted and inviting! She offered me tea and conversation while she was addressing all of my needs and concerns. I felt as though I had known her for years, like she was family! Second, she was so professional and knowledgeable while answering all of my questions, and patient while dealing with my doubt that it would work. I mean, how can you heal me without touching me?  It made no sense to me! However, during the session, I just relaxed as she did her magic. At first I literally felt nothing but then there were certain spots that I would feel a strong wave of tears or emotion or excitement, and I found out later she was working with my heart chakra and healing me. They quickly passed like waves but it wasn't until the very end of my session that I noticed the biggest change - a HUGE rush of energy that was unlike any other! I felt amazing! Refreshed! I've been going to Audrey for years now - I've even ventured into acupuncture sessions with her where she's literally healed my headaches, tension, anxiety, a deep flesh wound, and given me the gift of an overall sense of well being!  My only complaint is that because I travel and live out of state I can't take her with me since she insists on staying in sunny Florida (and who could blame her?! Ha ha!) Thank you Audrey for being a catalyst of health and healing for my body! You are a lifesaver and a gem! Please travel and provide your services up and down the east coast! I have a long list of friends who can't wait to have their first session with you asap! ;) "
